BONFIRE PERMIT

  To assure the safety to all participants
Who May Apply?
  Special interest groups.
Is A Fee Required?
  Yes. See Fire Prevention Bureau for current amount.
Important Information.
  Requires permission of City Park Division to hold bonfires on public beaches.  

FIREWORKS/ EXPLOSIVES PERMIT
Purpose of Permit
  To sell or use permissible fireworks or explosives (Section 167,10 Wisconsin Statutes, City Code of General Ordinances, 11.021).
Who May Apply?
  Anyone who offers for sale, or holds or displays permissible fireworks for sale.
Is A Fee Required?
  No.
Expiration Date
  48 hours after issuance of permit for exploding devices. December 31 for sale of permissible fireworks.
Important Information.
  Requires inspections of the location of the storage or sales of fireworks/explosives.

FLAMMABLE LIQUID TANKS INSTALLATION APPLICATION
Purpose of Permit
  To install underground/above ground flammable, combustible, hazardous liquids storage tanks. (City Code of General Ordinances, 3.33)
Who May Apply?
  Any State certified UST/AST installer for the purpose of installing underground/aboveground flammable, combustible, hazardous liquids storage tanks. (c.f., City Code of General Ordinances, 3.33)
Is A Fee Required?
  Yes. See Fire Prevention Bureau for current amount.
Expiration Date
  One year from issuance of permit.
Important Information.
  Abandonment or temporary disuse of any tank for longer than 10 days is prohibited. Removal shall be to a designated safe and protected area as determined by the Fire Chief.  

  TANK CLOSURE APPLICATION
Purpose of Permit
  To remove underground or above ground flammable, combustible, hazardous liquids storage tanks (City Code of General Ordinances, 3.33).
Who May Apply?
  Any State certified UST/AST remover, cleaners.
Is A Fee Required?
  Yes. See Fire Prevention Bureau for current amount.
Expiration Date
  One year from issuance of permit.
Important Information.
  Requires inspections to monitor removal procedures and to verify complete removal and disposal.
